The four and half years of writing the album Emotion Vertigo were far from a smooth process for us. I was in a seemingly endless creative funk, and considered the idea of calling it quits on the project entirely. There was a turning point when I stepped back and realized I had let worries and insecurities of what Bora York “should or shouldn’t look like” take priority.

This process of ups and downs led to the creation of a collection of songs spanning an entire spectrum of emotion, thus giving the album title, Emotion Vertigo, its place. It was a passionate step back to what it’s all about - the music.

Album Update

The second album is getting close.  Really close.  It's been fun to see the direction of the new songs and to look ahead towards a release.  I love the process, and I also get antsy towards a release show and playing more live, as well as just being able to put out another full-length online.

We're in the process of putting together concepts for a couple music videos as well.

Here's some shots of recording drums with Bjorn a couple weeks back:
